Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Gleance (the “Service”), operated by Gleance. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Gleance tracks how AI search engines such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and DeepSeek answer questions about your business, measures your visibility against competitors, and suggests actions to improve it. The Service is provided on a subscription basis and may change over time as we add, remove, or adjust features.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when you create an account and keep it up to date. We sign you in with a link sent to your email or through your Google account, so you are responsible for keeping access to that email account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use.

3. Free trial and billing

Paid plans start with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and the plan you selected is billed to your payment method, then renews each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in a way that breaks any applicable law.
  • Attempt to access, disrupt, or reverse engineer parts of the Service you are not authorized to use.
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission.
  • Use automated means to overload or interfere with the Service.

5. Your data

You keep ownership of the information you provide, such as your business details and competitors. You grant us the permission needed to process that information to run the Service. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party AI services

The Service relies on third-party AI search engines and providers. Their answers change frequently and are outside our control. We report what those services say as faithfully as we can, but we do not guarantee any particular result, ranking, or mention.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service available and accurate, but we provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, and will give reasonable notice of material changes where we can.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gleance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, revenue, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. On termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will let you know by a reasonable means, such as email or a notice in the Service. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
